Dr. Evan Rosenoff, owner and president of Noah’s Ark established the veterinary hospital in 1996. Dr. Rosenoff follows in the footsteps of his father, and 2 uncles who are also veterinarians. It is his hope that he make a difference in the lives of his client’s and their pets.
Dr. Rosenoff grew up in New York and received his B.A. in biology from SUNY Albany in 1983. His degree in veterinary medicine came from Ross University and the University of Tennessee in 1991. Following graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Rosenoff finished his general medicine and surgery internship at the prestigious Animal Medical Center in New York City from 1991-1992.
Dr. Rosenoff has a special interest in Dermatology, Nutrition, and Exotic Pet Medicine.
Dr. Rosenoff and his wife MaryLou have 3 wired haired dachshunds, Bailey, Jonnie, and Bini, as well as a herd of tortoises to include Pancake, Indian Star, and Radiated Tortoises. His hobbies include collecting black and white photography, and listening to music (specifically the Grateful Dead).
Dr. Deborah Sweet grew up in Fond du Lac, WI. She had a strong interest in both animals and medicine from childhood as her father was a human ophthalmologist and her grandfather and great-grandfather were both veterinarians. She reared tadpoles into frogs, tended injured wild bunnies and read every animal book she could find in the library.
Dr. Sweet received her B.A in biology from Gustavus Adolphus college in 1992 and graduated from veterinary school at the University of Wisconsin in 1996. She practiced in veterinary hospitals in Oregon and Wisconsin, as well as establishing her own house call practice, prior to moving to North Carolina in 2014. She believes in treating her patients as she would her own to provide the best quality medical care.
Dr. Sweet’s professional passions include ophthalmology, internal medicine and geriatric and hospice patient care.
Away from the hospital, Dr. Sweet loves spending time with her husband, John, and two children, Owen and Sydney. She enjoys spending as much time as she can outdoors especially hiking, swimming, gardening and travelling. Her animal family includes a geriatric tuxedo cat, Nimbus and two very mixed breed dogs, Webster and Bailey.
